Today was a very weird day for us…
I ran around the city quite a lot doing things like rehearsing for the end of the year concert for one of the programs I work for (http://www.jqsop.org/) and later in the day having a performance at the Boston Common with them also for a thing called BPS Citywide Arts Festival… it went awesome!
I met Simone with the firm purpose of performing at Harvard Sq. but this spot has proven to be a coveted space. We got there and it was taken so we took the option of going to Central Sq. to give it a go and see what would come out of it
Central is for sure not the best place to do this: small space, train’s momentum will take down your parts mercilessly and yes, nowhere to sit so standing it was
By the end, a couple of trains got disabled in front of us and the sound while they stood by was just like that annoying noise at Park Street.
Starting to realize how often trains break down for the MBTA
We decided to meet at night again to go check if the Harvard Sq. spot was open but sadly, no dice.
Plans weren’t accurately performed today at all and we’ll see what tomorrow brings when we go to the Boston Common and more!
First “open air” performance! woot woot!
