Bach, Boston, Urban

Phase 2 is here, man!

So today was a very exciting day…

We finally got to the 2nd stage of this project where the teaching part comes in, which, let me confess, is the main objective behind this

Remember how I told you a few days ago that one of the goals was to teach about these pieces while we perform?

Ok, it’s time for me to explain to you what I meant:

Starting today, every single performance that Simone and I do will have signs visible to the people passing by that would be describing briefly but clearly what is happening musically.

There will be one saying what piece are they listening to:

Yes, sir, that is the name of the piece you're listening to...

Yes, kind sir, that is the name of the piece you’re listening to!

There will be another one saying what movement or selection of the piece are they listening to:

Hello, my child! What's that? Yes, I know Presto is also a pressure cooker brand!

Hello, my child! What’s that? Yes, I know “Presto” is also a pressure cooker brand!

And finally, there will be a message inviting anybody who listens to our playing to approach us between pieces and ask us whatever they would like to know about what we’re doing

But of course, milady, ask whatever you wish to know!

But of course, milady, ask whatever you wish to know!

Also, you might have noticed that in the corner of every sign there is the URL address to this Blog so hopefully we will get some new readers out of the people that saw us at some point during this cycle

Come on, followers! Come ONNNNNNNNNN followers!

Come on, followers! Come ONNNNNNNNNN followers!

We were eager to take this new stage on the road, but…

Now… how did our first day go?
